THE SOUTHERN BELLE, Brighton – A Smart Stay in the City

Staying at this hotel was like stepping back in time with its quirky and charming decor. The help-yourself buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a variety of delicious options. The staff, while friendly, seemed a bit short-staffed, but they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

I had an absolutely lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, tastefully decorated with high-end fixtures and fittings. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, although they seemed a bit short-staffed and all over the place. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the beach and a short walk into Brighton center and Hove, making it perfect for any type of activity. The dining experience was good, but there were some minor issues with the service and crockery. Overall, a great value for money option in a prime spot by the sea.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were lovely with a side sea view and a cosy feeling, and the pub downstairs had a good selection of cocktails. The hotel was beautiful and clean, offering big rooms with great views. The service was exceptionally helpful, providing tips on what to see in Brighton and offering storage for our bags. The location was brilliant, allowing easy access to Brighton center and even welcoming dogs. The dining experience was good, with a pleasant welcome in the mornings. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right by the seafront and close to the city center. The rooms were great, very nicely furnished, and surprisingly quiet despite being located over the pub. The staff were amazing, making us feel incredibly welcome and even going above and beyond to get us a special cocktail. However, I did find the breakfast options a bit lacking for the price paid. Overall, a fantastic weekend getaway spot with a few minor hiccups.
